I don’t usually, or ever post pictures i’ve taking on my iPhone, but this is an exception
Waves slowly rolling in along the shoreline of Silver Strand in Co. Wicklow, the destination of my most recent (and second) camping trip. The beach is a private stretch of the County Wicklow coastline owned and protected by the campsite ownerr of Wolohans Silver Strand. This is a delightful beach, but beware if you have a doggie with you, they are not allowed doen onto the beach, despite being allowed in the campsite.
Moss on the top of a rock in Glendalough, Co. Wicklow.
Grasses in Glendalough, burnt by the harsh winds and barren surroundings.
Shadows creeping down the valley wall as seen from the upper lake summit at Glendalough Co Wicklow.
This weekend was another treat for me and another visit to Newcastle Aerodrome was had courtesy of John Nugent and Wicklow TV. This trip though resulted in a helicopter trip across the Wicklow countryside and along the beautiful expansive Wicklow coastline.
A view overlooking the valley in Glendalough, Co. Wicklow with brave rays of sunshine breaking through the grey clouds to illuminate the valley below.
